Wilesco D2 Stationary steam engine

D2 is the smallest engine in Wilesco’s steam engine programme. You certainly cannot do without this tiny beauty. Heated with a special beeswax candle light this filigree oscillating cylinder purrs up and down and drives briskly the sparkling flywheel. You will take delight in watching this mechanical masterpiece. The boiler capacity lasts for a run of more than 30 minutes.

A filigree engine by Wilesco with its upright boiler and oscillating cylinder mounted on a base plate. The boiler is equipped with a safety spring valve, two water gauge glasses and a brass flywheel.

Wilesco D4 steam engine

Wilesco presents its next steam engine model D4 driven by a candle. The highly polished brass boiler generates steam pressure which drives the tiny filigree fly wheel. The black fire-proof base frame with its beautiful details is fixed on a noble wooden plate. Due to its laser-cur autlines this model is beautiful from any view. The oparation with special beeway candles creates a comforting atmosphere wihich will fascinate anyone. Also cleaning this model is easy. The power unit can easily be removed from the wooden plate.

For all hobby engineers the fascinating D6 is also available as a complete kit. It can easily be mounted within a short time. Real hobbyists cannot do without it.

Wilesco D100E Steam Engine

This is the first experimental kit by Wilesco. The steam engine kit (D5) together with a dynamo and some electronic components are combined to an experimental and learning unit. After the assembly of the steam engine there is nothing left to hinder the proverbial grasp of electrical devices. The dynamo engenders sufficient tension to light up the LEDs in the elaborately described experiment set-ups.

Wilesco D6 steam engine

Steam engine with horizontal boiler and oscillating cylinder. The powder-coated base plate has bore holes to fasten the engine on a board. During operation the pressure inside the boiler can be controlled with the dome whistle.

D9 is a kit version of D10 and can be built within a short time.

Wilesco D10 steam engine

This engine is equipped with a double-acting brass cylinder. The flywheel with centrifugal govenor can be started in both directions. The chimney of the engine smokes just like in reality and has a dome whistle to control the pression.

Wilesco D10/100 steam engine special edition

100 years of Wilesco were the reason for this anniversary edition. In addition to its ancient look this engine has a graved boiler and a noble wooden case as gift box. Technically, this engine corresponds to D10.

Wilesco D11 steam engine kit

The new kit D11 by Wilesco and Tronico unites the steam eingine and the popular metal construction sets. The kits of the steam engine D9 and an oil pump model are supplied on one big base plate. The illustrated description guides the user step by step to a complete steam model which can be changed again and again. The base plate serves as a platform for creative handicraft work and construction of further models.

Wilesco D14 steam engine

Wilesco D141 steam engine workshop

A replication of a typic steam engine workshop of the 19th century. The engine is identical to D14 and true to original it smokes. Additionally, this model is equipped with a steam regulator and pressure gauge. A drilling machine, two wheel grinder, circular saw and hack saw are linked by a transmission under the roof.

Wilesco D16 steam engine

This classic engine has a steam whistle with chain, a steam regulator and a centrifugal governor. The flywheel with its drive pulley and connecting rods made of shapely cast parts can drive numerous models. During operation the chimney smokes true to original.

Wilesco D161 steam engine workshop

Based on D16 this workshop is equipped with a transmission, a dynamo, a streetlamp and a blacksmith's hammer. The rounds per minute of the models and the flywheel can be controlled with the steam regulator. The chimney smokes true to original.

Wilesco D165 steam engine

This assembly D165 can be the start of a small model plate. The package contains the steam engine D16, a large countershaft and a drilling machine. Four additional drive models can be connected to this countershaft.

Wilesco D18 steam engine

This particular engine smokes true to original and shows in a special way the conversion of thermal energy into electricity. The pressure gauge and steam whistle with chain give a feedback about the pressure inside the boiler. The steam regulator controls the rounds per minute of the flywheel. The pre-installed dynamo generates the energy which is necessary to light up the street light on the turquoise base plate.

Wielesco D20 steam engine

This engine is equipped with the biggest flywheel and cylinder, a pressure gauge gives information on the pressure inside the boiler. The steam regulator allows to control the rounds per minute of the flywheel and all drive models. During operation the chimney smokes true to original.

Wilesco Dampfmaschine elektrisch D202

Die Dampfmaschine D202 ist die am häufigsten hergestellte des WlLESCO-Sortiments. Der Kessel hat ein Volumen von 530 ccm und misst 6,5 x 16 cm . Der Dampfdruck ist über das Manometer ständig kontrollierbar und mit dem Ablaßhahn lässt sich verbliebenes Restwasser aus dem Kessel entfernen nach dem Betriebsende. Diese Dampfmaschine wird elektrisch betrieben.

D32 Wilesco steam engine

Return of a legend!

The most powerful steam engine from Wilesco is back.
After more than 40 years, Wilesco will produce a limited edition.
The black painted base plate in combination with the grey an red cylinder base and the nickel plated elements gives the D32 a unique look.
It is the first electric heated steam engine with a smoking chimney and it has more features than all other steam engines.

The heat resistant boiler with a volume of 1000 cm3 will be heated electrically. The boiler has a nickel plated and polished cover for a better heat supply. The instrument panel contains the steam supply valve, the pressure gauge and unique for the D32 el is the tachometer for the fly wheel. The steam valve navigates the steam supply to the biggest self starting aggregate from Wilesco. With the hand lever on the instruction panel, you can run or stop the movement of the transmission which is powered by the efficient brass cylinders. Additionally a generator (V12) and the water pump will constantly run by the engine.

The feeding pump takes fresh water from a reservoir under the base plate. There is an additional valve at the pump, which redirects the water to an outlet. In the middle under the basic plate is a collecting tray for the condensation, which keeps the engine dry and clean.

Wilesco will produce the D32 in a limited edition of 500 pieces. Every sample will have a valuable certificate with a serial number and will be delivered in a premium wooden box.

Wilesco D455 steam engine

This engine persuades with its compact construction. A fire tube inside the boiler ensures a quick pressure generation. In contrast to most of the Wilesco engines it is equipped with an upright assembly.

Wilesco T125 steam turbine

Wilesco presents this turbine of the next generation in cooperation with "Gintschel Modellbau". It goes without saying that this model on a high modelbuilding level is made in germany. The nobel design in brass and red united on a black base plate shows in a smart way the basic principle of how energy is genrated today. With its specially otimized boiler the turbine is equipped with sufficient energy to supply more than 10.000 rpm, including real turbine sound and gameplay fun. This steam turine T125 is equipped with a powerful generator as well as a transmission for drive models which allows a simultaneous use. Power? No problem! The production of the complete turbine using CNC guarantees an almost vibration-free running. This gem will be produced item by item and hence only an order-related production is possible. 

H50 Stirlingmotor

This powerful hot air engine is installed on an oak plate. By heating and cooling of the air inside the glass cylinder thermal energy is transformed into kinetic energy. It develops its enormous power only with a special beeswax candle light. The brass windbreak keeps the flame calm. - out of stock -
